How we Market out Exhibitors

We’re getting ready to gear up our marketing efforts for the Tablescapes 2026 Fundraiser. Your help spreading the word will greatly increase our fundraising impact and your contribution.

We’ve listed your name and table on https://avonhistoricalsociety.org/event/tablescapes-2026/

We will be posting on Facebook and Instagram regularly between now and the event (and after!) and would appreciate it if you could share those posts on your profiles/pages.  Please follow https://www.facebook.com/avonhistoricalsociety.org and https://www.instagram.com/avonhistoricalsociety/.

This will include “Teaser” posts! As more exhibitors send in their Tablescapes Theme Titles and write-ups, we’re going to start posting “teasers” with your table theme title and maybe a hint or two about what your table might be about. Something to keep the momentum going!

We’ll also submit the event to as many CT-focused Facebook Group Chat groups as possible, and we're hoping Connecticut Magazine will pick up the submission we sent for the Arts & Events section. We’ll promote it in several other local venues, but nothing beats word of mouth for spreading the news! So please share news of your participation with as wide a circle as possible.

We might also suggest:

Post a Poster: If you are affiliated with a business or association that has a bulletin board area, please let us know if you would like us to provide an Event flyer for posting.

Promote the event on your Facebook or Instagram Profile or Page:

  • If you have a profile or Page, please post that you'll be exhibiting at the event. Include the flyer or other image of your choice.
  • If you have a Page, please add the event to your events calendar.
  • If you have access to group chat pages, please post the event and your participation in it on those pages.

Website: If you have a website with a calendar or event section, please include an announcement of your participation in the event.

Association Newsletters: If you are representing an organization or association, please include an announcement of the event and your participation in your newsletters, if appropriate.
