What does 9/11 mean twenty years later?

Join us for this in-person event!

It was a Tuesday morning that shook the world, and though many have promised to “never forget,” there’s an entire generation of Americans who have no memory of the attacks.  What should they be taught about this world changing event?   How has September 11 continued to shape America’s role and reputation in the world?  Join us for an intriguing discussion with Professor Matt Warshauer, historian at Central Connecticut State University, as he explores the meaning of 9/11.

This is an in-person event to be held at the Avon Free Public Library.  Social distancing and masks may be required.  Seating is very limited, so sign up today if you are interested.
