National Register of Historic Places Marker Placed
The area surrounding the Pine Grove Schoolhouse was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, however, the designated area went “unmarked” until recently. Rev. Rufus Hawley gravestone replica installed at West Avon Cemetery
The Rev. Rufus Hawley 1826 gravestone was deteriorated and needed to be replaced.
