Tablescapes 2025
The event is over for this year! Now on to planning 2026. But before we do that, we have many people to thank.
A very special thank you to the Chabot Family and The North House for their generosity, assistance and outstanding support.
Thank you to Terri Wilson, President of the Avon Historical Society, for the many hour she devotes on a volunteer basis to the Society, to TABLESCAPES, and to the Town of Avon overall. Recently, she was named the 2024 Avon Citizen of the Year.
Thank you to the volunteers at the entrance table and tag sale, and all of those who help moving our exhibitors in and out on set up and tear-down days!
Thank you to all of our TABLESCAPES Exhibitors and everyone who helped support them to make this event so successful.
Thank you to our Sponsors for their support of TABLESCAPES and our mission to raise funds for the new Avon History Museum.
Finally, thank you to our ATTENDEES, for your continued interest in this event and for your financial support of this fundraiser.

First Place Winner
Table #22 Touches of Avon By: Tracy Payne, Ann Wood & Mary Ann Haar, Laylock Cottage Art & Design
These new friends and members of Garden Club of Hartford were happy to participate by creating this magical, fanciful tablescape inspired by the beautiful Wedgewood pattern, aptly named AVON!

Second Place Winner
Table #14 “Thanks for the Post ” By: Tracy Gerace, Volunteer | H.O.P.E. Partners of Farmington
It's just like magic today to get a text or message instantly from friends and family. Back in 1908, Mildred Henry loved getting postcards from friends and family. Imagine how exciting it must have been! She lived in the Farmington Valley her whole life, mainly in Riverton. She was my grandfather's cousin. Luckily for us, she saved all of these postcards. It is now my pleasure to share them with you! Enjoy!

Third Place Winner
Table #13 Guess Whose Coming to Dinner By: The Garden Club of Avon | www.gardenclubofavonct.org
Come greet our guests (birds, bees and butterflies!) as they dine on their favorite cuisine. Discover a wide range of pollinators who visit our own back yards throughout the year.

Honorable Mention
Table #27 Life is Just a Bowl of Cherries By: Susan Talbot
The sweetness of cherries has inspired this tablescape, which features four pieces of original art, each depicting its own “bowl of cherries.” Also featured are several pieces of vintage red & white enamelware, enhancing the cheerful and happy mood. Enjoy!
