Members are the lifeline of every organization. You may join as an individual or family member for a very nominal fee, with a discounted fee for students and seniors. Corporate membership is also available at a very reasonable rate. All members receive quarterly newsletters as well as advanced notices of upcoming events.

Please help us to grow stronger so we may continue our mission to educate people about the rich history of our area. By preserving tangible artifacts of the past, we can further the historical understanding of life in our valley for future generations.

Volunteer Opportunities

If you would like to become more active in the Avon Historical Society there are many ways to become involved. Do you enjoy connecting with people? We are the group to join! We have need for help at public events (when resumed), mounting exhibits, researching and writing articles for publication, and greeting the public at our 1865 Pine Grove Schoolhouse when it reopens in 2022. Or if you are handy, we can use always use help with grounds and maintenance of the four properties we maintain. Contact us and we can tell you more!
