The Avon Historical Society regrets to announce that, due to the breakdown of the HVAC system in the new museum, the Grand Opening planned for July 4th is rescheduled to Labor Day, Monday, September 1. However, the outdoor exhibit panels, engraved paver patio with benches under the pergola and a little free library are available for your enjoyment this summer.

In the meantime, the Coordinating Committee for Avon's America 250 project is pleased to announce Avon resident Shane Leighton as the winner of the logo contest! This is his winning design.
