Gene Macy, trustee of the Avon Historical Society, lists below the dates he is offering to be at the Derrin House this summer to finish scraping (mostly done) and painting the exterior of the building.

If you can give any time, please let him know so he can meet you there and have supplies ready.

There is no ladder work expected, unless you are OK with a step ladder. The higher parts of the house will be done by a professional.

PLEASE consider a day or two to help!  The Trustees are working on a possible plan for the house in 2025.  The exterior painting is the first step.
